As the saying goes “Your network is your net worth” Therefore this 21st Century is not all about what you have or how talented and experienced you are, but the people you know and the people who know who you are and what you can offer.

If we can sell products and services, if can promote and advertise products and services, then we can also do same with humans. We can actually sell and advertise people. We can use our extensive network to promote and advertise these young people who struggling to get known.

If you have been following my posts, you will notice I mentioned in one of my posts that, this 21st century rewards more of smart workers than hard workers.

Some people don’t work much, but they produce result, the make progress and they achieve great things meanwhile there are many people who are just busy, very hard working and even work 24/7 but aren’t producing results. This is a waste of resources, time, energy and attention.

We need to intentional in life, purposeful and with singled minded focused on set goals. Do not confuse activities with results.

The empowerment of the Women and the girl child in Cameroon.

Should women and girls in Cameroon be empowered? There is a saying that “What a man can do, a woman can do “With this, the empowerment of the girl child and the Cameroonian woman is of great importance. This is because if Cameroon does not maximize the capacity of her women’s fold, she is like a plane operating on a single-engine which is meant to perform at it optimum best with two engines. This will mean the country is making use of only 60%  of her potentials.40% of her population’s potentials are locked up as she operates on 60% of her potentials. Cameroonian women and girls, need to be empowered to fit in the corporate world where women are taking over. We need women from Cameroon who will rise up like: Helen Johnson of liberiaMama Edith KawalaTheresa may of Great BritainAngela Mikel of GermanyHilary Clinton of the  United States of America as much as Cameroonian women need empowerment, it should be well noted that they have some serious challenges such as being Considered as second class people by systems and men, Given out for early marriages, Maltreated when they become widows, some men treat them with Violence,  they are rape and the list continues. The Cameroonian woman needs empowerment for they have the potentials we need in Cameroon especially as we move toward an Emergent economy come 2035Empower her for a brighter Cameroon.

This is the only way we can remain relevant in the fast changing world. If not the world will leave us behind.

Many people didn’t know that today was Africa Day. Many still don’t know that Theresa May British PM has resigned and many don’t know that a 22yrs old girl just won Parliamentary election in Malawi.

We have to constantly learn in order improve, update and upgrade.

If your circle is not giving you this opportunity, then you have to leave.

Never feel discouraged to try something again because your first try did not yield any fruit.

Never stop asking for help because you didnt get it the last time you asked for it.

Will a woman stop taking in because she had a miscarriage with her last pregnancy? Absolutely No!

We have to keep trying.

We have to keeping asking.

If you have an opportunity to try something, try. If you have the opportunity to ask for help. Do.

Never neglect any.Even a small one can do and it can make a difference.

There is no harm in try anyways!.

And if these two are done right remarkable results are inevitable in the business.

Continuous improvement if done right is life to the startup and if done wrong, it will kill the startup. The right continuous growth and improvement keep every Start-up from sinking.

There’s a lot of talk about Innovation, Innovation is not just about Technology. If you can improve Someone’s life in a small & meaningful way that’s Innovation.

You don’t have to be a millionaire or billionaire to improve Someone’s life. You can improve Someone’s life through small but meaningful ways. Let me share some small acts I do it’s not much but it’s meaningful. Have been doing this for 3 years+

If am in a provision store to buy, and I see an elderly woman or man buying a basic need in small quantity I increase it. For example buying 1 laundry soap I will increase to 5. Am in a taxi with an elderly woman or man I pay the taxi fare or add more for the driver to drop her door. Between April and May paid transport of 3 jobseekers who didn’t have money to attend interview in another town and all of them got the job. The transport fare may have been just a few thousands to me but this changed the course of their career lives.

Am not sharing all these to show off (after all I don’t need public validation) am just sharing a strong point where in our little corner we can make our communities better by just improving one life a day, a week or a month. You don’t need to be a billionaire.

Every week ask yourself whose life will I improve today? Help to make life better for someone through small and meaningful ways. All that will really matter is how we treated each other.

We have all been in positions where we needed help or just prayers and encouragement and that gave us reasons to live. Little good from you in this world filled with disasters and crises is all someone needs to keep going through this life. Do meaningful good!
