Who is Leading Your Life’s Discussion?

As a coach I come across people daily with amazing God given potentials living below average, in distress, broke, stranded, and worried because they are not responsible for their life’s discussion. What do I mean by life’s discussion? What you hear, think, say and how you act, is it determined by you or by the opinions of others.

Millions of people have allowed other people’s opinions and judgements to control the direction of their lives. Josiah Ruff once said “People pleasing is a curse that should be avoided at all costs”

Here are some recommended self-check questions to practice to enable you take control of your life’s discussion.

Before you do anything ask yourself these questions
1. How is this adding value to my ultimate vision
2. How will this draw me closer to my goal for today, this week, this month…
3. Am I doing this because I want to do it or because of my fear of judgement from others if I don’t do it.

Don’t let someone else control what you do in life. It’s your decisions, your outcomes, your life. Remember, no one has power over you unless you give it to them, you are in control of your life and your choices decide your own fate.

Dear young people if you want to succed ,get out from your comfort zone and do something different.The moment your remain comfortable and satisfied where you are,there will be no chance for growth and development.
Get out there and do something different.do some thing extra-ordinary and most importantly dream big but be ready to start small.

To become means there is a complete change in your behaviour, daily habits, thinking pattern, friends, hardwork style, high level commitment, ceaseless passion, skillset and competence. You cannot be the same person you have been many years ago but expect to live your dreams in 2020 that’s pure witchcraft.

As you rise daily to chase your goals and dreams so will distractions rise to accompany you in the process. Distractions are part of life. There are times they are important and there are times they can kill you

From movies to social media, to lazy talkative friends, these will be there whether you like it or not. It is therefore your decision to self discipline yourself to fight & manage these distractions.

Hear this, when distractions rise in your life, focus & clarity will drop drastically. Becareful how you accomodate distractions if not months will go by & years will go by while you are the same person & in the same spot in life.

Distractions causes huge losses in productivity. Take control of your time and focus. Start by switching off your data when you have serious work to do. You want to get things done? Then stay focus. You want to get focus? then avoid distractions.

Many times in my life, I have been in situations where giving up on this journey seemed like the best way out.

Life can feel impossible sometimes. You maybe failing more times than you imagined & the only thing you are thinking of now is to give up.

Instead of letting the worst get into my head, I always ask myself, Is giving up the only option left for me? Or Is there a better way to deal with it? Have I spent enough time to pray about it & seek Holy Spirit direction? Have I spoken to my mentor & pastor for clarity?

Giving up on your dreams will never be the best option. Find a better way to deal with it. You will get to a better place, but it will take time and committment.

I told a young Cameroonian that the quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to their commitment and ability to succeed, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor. Your way of life tells you exactly what you want in life, If you want to succeed or not irrespective of your chosen field. Live a life style as composed as your chosen field demands, then success will be at your door step knocking. You cannot be an administrator but live the life of a musician. Change your way of life to suit your chosen field of endeavor then success will be yours . Good Morning.
